CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI has given Chelsea a huge boost after returning to training drills just two months after undergoing surgery on his ruptured Achilles.
The Blues winger, 18, posted a clip to Twitter showing himself partaking in sharp, fast-paced drills.
And the news of his return is sure to delight Chelsea fans, who feared the worst when he limped off during April’s 2-2 draw against Burnley.
Hudson-Odoi wrote: “Recovery is going well, I hope to be soon be back on the pitch, let’s go!!”
The England international made 24 appearances under Maurizio Sarri and looks set for a bright future at Stamford Bridge.
Eden Hazard has complete a mega-money move to Real Madrid.
And Hudson-Odoi is in line to sign a new long-term contract with Chelsea after previously being linked with Bayern Munich.
The teenager could also be set to receive Hazard’s coveted No 10 shirt.
